SunExpress Golf Club - Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
SunExpress Golf Club is a membership program powered by SunExpress Airlines (Güneş Ekspres Havacılık A.Ş) designed to offer exclusive benefits and privileges to golf and travel enthusiasts. This document outlines the general terms and conditions governing the membership and the use of benefits under the program.
2. Definitions
- Program: Refers to the SunExpress Golf Club Membership Program.
- Member: Refers to the individual who joins the program by accepting its terms and conditions.
- Partners/Sponsors: Refers to selected companies and organizations that provide benefits to program members, such as airlines, hotels, and golf clubs.
- Membership Fee: Refers to the fee paid for a specific period of membership.
- Membership ID Number: Refers to the personal code assigned to a member by the system. The Member ID Number begins with the initials “XQGC” which is followed by a numeric code.
- Membership Card: Refers to the virtual card containing the member’s information and membership number.
3. Membership Conditions
3.1. Eligibility
Individuals aged 18 and above, who permanently reside in a country where the program is permitted, can apply for membership. Membership is not valid for legal entities, companies, groups, or associations. All memberships are individual.
3.2. Application Process
Applicants must complete an online membership request form, providing required information such as full name and a valid email address. Membership begins upon completion of the online form, acceptance of the terms and conditions, payment of the membership fee, and approval by SunExpress Golf Club. Applicants cannot access benefits until these steps are completed.
3.3. Approval and Confirmation
Upon approval, members will receive a welcome email with their personal membership number and a virtual membership card. SunExpress Golf Club reserves the right to reject applications without providing a reason.
3.4. Updating Membership Information
Members are obligated to promptly notify SunExpress Golf Club of any changes to their personal information (such as address, email, phone number, etc.).
3.5. Requirement to Be a SunExpress Customer
To become a member of the program, applicants must be existing customers of SunExpress Airlines. The membership application also includes agreeing to join the SunExpress Loyalty Program and accepting its terms and conditions. Applicants who do not accept this condition cannot participate in the program.
4. Membership Fee and Renewal
4.1. Fee Payment
4.1.1. 1-Year Membership
The 1-year membership begins on the date of application and is valid for one year. The membership fee for 1 year is €499 or £439 per person. Payment must be made via the provided payment link or by bank transfer. SunExpress Golf Club reserves the right to change the membership fee and the membership duration.
4.1.1. 6-Month Membership
The 6-month membership begins on the date of application and is valid for six months. The membership fee for 6 months is €299 or £259 per person. Payment must be made via the provided payment link or by bank transfer. SunExpress Golf Club reserves the right to change the membership fee and the membership duration.
4.2. Renewal
Membership is not automatically renewed. Members must renew their membership before the expiration date to continue enjoying benefits. The renewal process follows the same procedure as the initial application.
5. Partners/Sponsors and Membership Benefits
5.1. Partners/Sponsors
Partners/Sponsors of SunExpress Golf Club include SunExpress Airlines, selected hotels in Antalya/Belek, golf clubs, and travel agencies. SunExpress Golf Club reserves the right to change or update its Partners/Sponsors without prior notice. SunExpress Golf Club assumes no responsibility for the accuracy or currency of information provided on the websites of its Partners/Sponsors.
5.2. Membership Benefits
Members of SunExpress Golf Club are entitled to various benefits provided by program's Partners/Sponsors. These benefits include, but are not limited to, special offers on flights, accommodations, and golf reservations. The details and conditions of these benefits may vary depending on the Partner/Sponsor. SunExpress Golf Club reserves the right to modify or update the benefits offered under the program without prior notice.
5.3. Utilization of Membership Benefits
To avail of SunExpress Golf Club benefits, membership must be active. Benefits are applicable only for reservations and services made after the commencement of membership and before the expiration of the validity period.
Members must inform that they are SunExpress Golf Club members and provide their membership number during the reservation; benefits must be requested and approved by the relevant Partners/Sponsors. For flight benefits, members must contact SunExpress Airlines customer service after purchasing the ticket and obtain approval.
The provision of benefits that were not approved by Partners/Sponsors at the time of reservation, or those requested subsequently or at the last minute, is not guaranteed.
5.4. Membership Card/Member Number Usage
The Membership Card and Member Number are personal and may only be used by the member whose name appears on the card and to whom the number has been assigned. Transfer of the membership card, member number, or the benefits provided to the member to any other person is prohibited.
Cardholders must present their Membership Cards and Member Numbers when taking advantage of benefits or making purchases/reservations. Presentation of the card and number is essential to avail of the associated benefits.
Additionally, cardholders may be required to provide supplementary identification documentation.
Lost or stolen cards must be reported immediately to SunExpress Golf Club. SunExpress Golf Club reserves the right to issue a replacement card for a lost or stolen card. This process may be subject to SunExpress Golf Club’s discretion and may involve a replacement fee.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
6.1. Cancellation by Member
Members may cancel their membership within 14 days of approval without reason, provided they have not utilized any benefits. A written notice via email is required.
Upon cancellation of the membership, all membership benefits become void. Additionally, any benefits that were reserved before the cancellation date but not yet utilized will also become void.
A membership that has been cancelled cannot be reactivated; a new membership must be obtained.
6.2. Refund Conditions
The membership fee shall be fully refunded for cancellations made within 14 days from the date of confirmation, provided that the member has not utilized any benefits during this period.
Cancellations made after the 14-day period shall not be eligible for a refund of the membership fee.
7. Liability and Responsibilities
7.1. Limitation of Liability
SunExpress Golf Club is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of benefits or services provided by Partners/Sponsors. Members must comply with the terms and conditions set forth by both SunExpress Golf Club and the Partners/Sponsors.
SunExpress Golf Club reserves the right to include other airlines and service providers (Partners/Sponsors) in the program and to utilize benefits through the services offered by these companies.
7.2. Member Obligations
Members are required to provide accurate information and adhere to all rules and regulations of the program. Any misuse or fraudulent activities may result in termination of membership and loss of benefits.
8. Confidentiality and Data Protection
SunExpress Golf Club processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Turkish Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK). Members' data may be shared with program Partners/Sponsors for the purpose of administering the program and providing benefits.
9. General Provisions
9.1. Modification and Termination of Program
SunExpress Golf Club reserves the right to modify or terminate the program and its terms at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via official communication channels. Changes take effect upon notification.
9.2. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by Turkish Law. Any disputes arising from the program or these terms will be exclusively handled by Antalya Courts and Execution offices. SunExpress Golf Club reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings in other competent courts.
